FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE FUR BALL is Rolling into Middle Tennessee

An Event to Benefit On The Fifth Day (Animal Sanctuary)

Murfreesboro, TN - August 27, 2007 - The Fur Ball is a first-of-its-kind, black tie fundraiser to benefit On The Fifth Day (Animal Sanctuary). The Stones River Country Club will host and cater the event on the fifth day of October, a Friday evening. The itinerary includes a three-course dinner, dancing, and a silent auction to purchase exclusive faux fur pieces from Donna Salyers' Fabulous-Furs collection. Ms. Salyers' "real look" faux furs have been featured on The Today Show, The View, General Hospital, and Law and Order as well as in nationally distributed publications such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan, Allure and Life & Style.

Miss Tennessee 2006 Lauren Grissom will lead a professional modeling team to bring a dynamic and entertaining show to guests. The simultaneous LIVE auction will be one of the night's finest hours with a special guest to shake things up. The event's $100,000 goal will be allocated to purchase the sanctuary's first public acreage, dog run, and a small administrative building to begin accepting animals.

On The Fifth Day's mission is to protect, nurture, love, spay/neuter, and find homes for homeless and abused animals. They will also provide educational programs for schools and vigilantly promote harmony amongst anyone in the "care of animals" community in order to save animals rather than agendas. Long-term goals are to employ two groups who are often ignored and overlooked - the Deaf culture and the chemically imbalanced population - and to work towards "No more homeless animals" beginning in Middle Tennessee.

Tickets are $125 each and must be purchased before September 30. If you would like more information, to donate services or funds, or are interested in sponsoring, please contact Jen Flatt Osborn. Phone: 281.908.4631 Email: namehere@gmail.com
